How much will my divorce run me, anyway?

Governments, courts, lawyers and individuals struggle to find data on the real costs of family law disputes in Canada. This new tool, produced by Toronto-based Calibrate Solutions and the University of Victoria’s Access to Justice Centre for Excellence, makes it easier for families to get a sense of the sneaky costs associated with family litigation, and helps policy makers to better understand the financial impact that court processes have on those families.

This is an excellent example of how we can use design to better understand access to justice issues in Canada.
